DIPAS Recruitment 2024 Available Positions:
- Research Associate (RA)
- Post Code: RA-01
- Vacancies: 01 Position
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences. Candidates with research experience in Physiology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology will be given preference.
- Age Limit: Maximum of 35 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government rules: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and other categories as specified.
- Interview Date: 04 September 2024
- Stipend: ₹67,000 per month + HRA, as per DRDO rules.
- Tenure: The position is for a maximum period of two years. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply, but the fellowship will only be awarded after the degree or provisional certificate is received.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – DRDO Fellowship

- Vacancies: 08 Positions
- Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc) or Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course (M.Tech) in Life Sciences or related fields (Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, Zoology, Bioinformatics, Genetics) with a valid NET/GATE score.
- Age Limit: Maximum of 28 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and other entitled categories as per Government rules.
- Interview Date: 04 September 2024
- Stipend: ₹37,000 per month + HRA, as per DRDO rules.
- Tenure: The position is initially for two years as JRF and may be extended to three more years as Senior Research Fellow (SRF), subject to satisfactory performance.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Own Fellowship

- Qualifications: Same as JRF-01 but candidates must have a valid Junior Research Fellowship from Central Government Departments or their Agencies.

Interview Details:
- Reporting Time: 0900 – 1000 hrs. Latecomers will not be allowed to appear for the interview.

- Documents Required: Original certificates and a set of supporting documents regarding qualifications and experience. Candidates currently employed in Government Departments/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies must present an NOC issued by their employer.
General Conditions:
- Stipend and Tenure:
- RA-01: Stipend of ₹67,000 + HRA. Tenure is up to two years.
- JRF-01: Stipend of ₹37,000 + HRA. Initial tenure is two years as JRF, extendable for up to three more years as SRF.
- JRF-02: Stipend and tenure similar to JRF-01.
