Exciting Opportunity: Director (Human Resources) at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)

Role and Responsibilities

As the Director (Human Resources), you will be a key member of the Board of Directors, reporting directly to the Chairman and Managing Director. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies.
  • Managing HR functions and administrative controls within the organization.
  • Ensuring the effective handling of employee relations and organizational development.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Age Limit:
    • Internal Candidates: Minimum 45 years with 2 years residual service as on the date of vacancy.
    • External Candidates: Minimum 45 years with 3 years residual service as on the date of vacancy.
  2. Employment Status:
    • Candidates must be employed in a regular capacity (not contractual/ad-hoc) in one of the following:
      • Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE)
      • Central Government Group ‘A’ Officers, Armed Forces, Public Sector Banks, Financial Institutions, or Autonomous Bodies
      • State Public Sector Enterprise (SPSE) with an annual turnover of ₹5,000 crore or more
      • Private Sector with an annual turnover of ₹5,000 crore or more (preference for listed companies).
  3. Qualifications:
    • A graduate with a good academic record from a recognized University/Institute.
    • Postgraduate Diploma or Degree in Personnel Management, Human Resource Management, or an MBA/PGDM from a recognized institution is desirable.
  4. Experience:
    • At least five years of cumulative experience in HR, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations within a reputable organization.
  5. Pay Scale:
    • For CPSE candidates, the eligible scale of pay varies based on the IDA/CDA norms.

Undertaking

Candidates must provide an undertaking to join the post if selected. Non-compliance with this undertaking will result in disqualification for future Board-level positions.
