APSC Stenographer eligibility criteria

  1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university, along with proficiency in stenography.
  2. Age Limit (as of 01.01.2024):
    • Minimum Age: 21 years
    • Maximum Age: 38 years
    • Relaxations:
      • SC/ST: 5 years (up to 43 years)
      • OBC/MOBC: 3 years (up to 41 years)
      • PwBD: 10 years
      • Ex-servicemen: 50 years (53 years for OBC and 55 years for SC/ST)

What is the salary of stenographer in Assam Secretariat?

  • Pay Band 3 (PB-3): ₹22,000 – ₹97,000
  • Grade Pay: ₹9,400
  • Other allowances as per Assam Government rules.

  • General (including Ex-servicemen): ₹297.20
  • SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: ₹197.20
  • BPL/PwBD (including Ex-servicemen): ₹47.20

How to apply for APSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024

  • Candidates must apply online through the official recruitment portal of APSC: https://apscrecruitment.in
  • Steps:

    2. Complete the online application form.
