Position: Manager – Policy and Strategy

Location: New Delhi (transferable to project locations)
Reporting To: COO
This role will require developing and implementing policies and strategies to advance AI initiatives in India. The position is purely contractual.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement policies aligned with national AI objectives.
- Drive the Safe & Trusted AI initiative by setting measurable goals.
- Collaborate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders.
- Represent IndiaAI at national and international forums.
- Prepare policy papers and briefings related to AI technologies.
- Lead and mentor a team to achieve strategic objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university/institution.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years in technology policy or a related field, preferably in a government setup.
- Proven expertise in project implementation, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic planning.
- In-depth knowledge of AI trends and their applications in public and private sectors.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
- Expertise in international cooperation on AI and technology-related policies.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
General Conditions
- Candidates in government or PSU employment must submit a No Objection Certificate.
- The appointment is purely project-based with no claims for permanent roles.
