Qualification & Experience:
- Qualification: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
- Experience: 6 months to 2 years
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering & Process
- Review project specifications, P&IDs, valve data sheets & client requirements.
- Develop interlock schemes, sequence philosophies & interlock logic.
- Prepare key exchange / trapped-key sequences.
- Select interlock devices, keys, cabinets, SRU, KEU & accessories.
- Ensure unique key coding and avoid duplicate key allocation.
- Manage PORS, TPD and review valve operator details.
- Check compatibility of interlock devices with different valve types & sizes.
- Handle ERP related activities.
Exposure to
- Support manufacturing & quality departments.
- Coordinate with factory & QC for technical inputs and deviations.
- Ensure timely completion of critical projects.
- Respond to client queries on installation & commissioning.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to interpret P&IDs and sound knowledge of pig launcher, receiver & PSVs.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint & strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of valve types and their specification.
Preferred Experience: Experience in the valve industry, especially in mechanical valve interlocks.
