IREL (India) Limited Recruitment 2026: IREL (India) Limited, Chavara, Kerala, invites applications for 12 Apprentice vacancies for the 2026–27 training session under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Candidates with ITI, Diploma, B.Tech/B.E., M.Sc. Chemistry, BBA or B.Com qualifications can apply for the relevant apprenticeship positions. Positions: Trade Apprentice, Technician & Graduate Apprentice

Job Location: Chavara, Kollam District, Kerala

Stipend: As prescribed under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, and as notified by the Government from time to time.

Qualification:

  1. Fitter Apprentice: ITI in Fitter Trade. Training Period: 1 Year.
  2. Welder Apprentice: ITI in Welder Trade. Training Period: 1 Year.
  3. AAO(P) Apprentice: M.Sc. Chemistry. Training Period: 1.5 Years.
  4. Graduate Apprentice – Mechanical: B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Training Period: 1 Year.
  5. Technician Apprentice – Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Training Period: 1 Year.
  6. Executive Apprentice: BBA (Finance)/B.Com. Training Period: 1 Year.

Total Vacancies: 12 Posts

Fitter Apprentice – 5 Vacancies
Welder Apprentice – 1 Vacancy
AAO(P) Apprentice – 1 Vacancy
Graduate Apprentice – Mechanical – 1 Vacancy
Technician Apprentice – Mechanical – 2 Vacancies
Executive Apprentice – 2 Vacancies

Age Limit:

  • Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST, OBC (NCL) and PwD candidates as specified in the notification.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on a merit list prepared using marks obtained in the specified educational qualification, subject to medical fitness.
