Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2026: Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, has invited applications for 70 Apprentice vacancies in Graduate, Diploma and ITI trades. Eligible candidates can apply from 15 October to 10 November 2026 for one-year apprenticeship training.

Positions:

  1. Graduate Technical Apprentice
  2. Graduate Non-Technical Apprentice
  3. Diploma Technician Apprentice
  4. ITI Trade Apprentice

Job Location: Kochi, Kerala

Salary / Stipend:

  • ITI Apprentice: ₹9,600 per month
  • Diploma Apprentice: ₹10,900 per month
  • Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300 per month

Additional food/messing allowance of ₹1,200 per month.

Qualification & Experience:

  1. Graduate Technical Apprentice: B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, EEE, ECE, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical or IT/Computer Science.
  2. Graduate Non-Technical Apprentice: BBA, B.Com or BCA.
  3. Diploma Technician Apprentice: Full-time 3-year Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or Computer Science.
  4. ITI Trade Apprentice: ITI in Electrician, Electronics, Welder, Fitter or Plumber.

Total Vacancies:

  • Graduate Technical Apprentice – 16 Posts
  • Graduate Non-Technical Apprentice – 6 Posts
  • Diploma Technician Apprentice – 28 Posts
  • ITI Trade Apprentice – 20 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed the required qualification within five years before the application closing date.
  • Candidates must be medically fit.
  • Candidates awaiting final examination results are not eligible.
  • Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in any organization for any duration are not eligible.
  • Part-time, correspondence, distance and online-mode qualifications are not accepted.

Selection Process: Shortlisting based on eligibility, followed by document verification. No written examination or interview.

  2. Register on the NATS portal at https://nats.education.gov.in for Graduate and Diploma apprentices.
  3. Complete/update your profile and upload the required documents.
  4. Submit the prescribed application form with supporting documents to:
