Position and Eligibility Criteria
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- No. of Posts: 02
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have an MSc/M.Tech/ME in relevant fields such as Physics, Electronics, Applied Physics, or equivalent, along with a valid NET/GATE score. Desirable qualifications include knowledge in FPGA Programming, DSP, Optical System Designing, and hands-on experience in working with optics or communication systems. Candidates without GATE/NET may also apply and will be designated as Project Associates with a consolidated stipend of ₹25,000 to ₹28,000 per month based on experience.
- Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years.
- Monthly Stipend: ₹37,000 + 30% HRA per month.
- Tenure: The position is temporary for a period of 2 years or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have an MSc/M.Tech/ME in relevant fields with a valid NET/GATE score. A minimum of 2 years of research, teaching, or industrial experience in the area of laser and photonics is mandatory for this position.
- Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years.
- Monthly Stipend: ₹42,000 + 30% HRA per month.
- Tenure: The position is temporary for a period of 2 years or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
