Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Delhi, is currently inviting applications for the Supervisor positions in the Signalling and Telecommunications (S&T) Department for the Mumbai Project. This recruitment is for Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement (PRCE) and on Deputation basis. DMRC, which caters to over 6.1 million daily passengers in the Delhi-NCR region and is involved in metro projects across India and abroad, is seeking eligible and experienced candidates for this opportunity.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must hold a full-time three-year diploma or higher degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Information Technology (IT)
• Computer Science
• Telecommunications
• Electronics & Instrumentation
• Control Engineering
  Candidates should have passed with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university or institution.

Experience:

Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in the Signalling & Telecommunications (S&T) department of Indian Railways, Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), or Metro organizations. Experience in working in a computerized environment is mandatory.

Required Pay Scales:

1. Junior Engineer (JE) on Deputation Basis:
   • The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Level 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) as per the 7th CPC or the corresponding IDA pay scale (₹37,000 – ₹1,15,000).
2. Section Engineer (SE) on Deputation Basis:
   • The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Level 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) as per the 7th CPC or the corresponding IDA pay scale (₹46,000 – ₹1,45,000).
3. Supervisor (JE/ASE/SE/SSE) on Post-Retirement Contractual Engagement Basis:
   • The candidate should have 5 years of supervisory experience in Level 6 or Level 7 or equivalent IDA pay scales as per the 7th CPC.

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to Signalling & Telecommunications for DMRC’s Mumbai project. However, candidates may also be transferred to other DMRC projects in India or abroad, as per the requirement.

Tenure:

1. For PRCE Basis:
   • The initial contractual period will be one year, which may be extended based on requirement and performance.
2. For Deputation Basis:
   • The tenure will typically be 5 years, extendable up to 7 years or until the retirement date, whichever is earlier.

Salary and Allowances:

1. For candidates selected on Deputation Basis:
   • They will receive their basic pay along with a deputation allowance as per their parent department’s rules.
2. For candidates selected on PRCE Basis:
   • A consolidated salary will be offered based on the last held position and pay scale.
   • For example, retirees from Level 6 will receive a consolidated salary of ₹50,000, while retirees from Level 7 will receive up to ₹65,700.

Selection Process:

The selection of candidates will be through a personal interview. Additionally, candidates will have to undergo a medical examination as per DMRC’s standards. The required medical standard is Aye-one (A-1) category fitness, and those not meeting the criteria will be disqualified from selection.
