DRDO Consultant Recruitment 2024 Notification

DRDO Consultant Age Limit:

• The maximum age limit for applying is 63 years as of the closing date of the application.

DRDO Consultant Salary and Allowances:

1. For Pensioners: The monthly remuneration will be calculated by deducting the basic pension from the last drawn pay at the time of retirement. The amount will remain fixed during the contract period.
2. For Non-Pensioners: The maximum consolidated monthly remuneration will be ₹60,000.
3. Conveyance Allowance: A fixed monthly allowance of ₹5,000 will be provided for commuting between home and the office.
4. Other Allowances: Consultants will not be entitled to any additional allowances such as DA, medical reimbursement, etc. However, they will receive TA/DA when required to travel for official duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management in PMIS: Regular updates to the Project Management Information System (PMIS) regarding newly sanctioned projects, project extensions, and cost revisions.
• Report Generation: Prepare reports for DRDO HQ, Parliament queries, and audits.
• Project Coordination: Track the progress of ongoing DRDO projects and provide updates, particularly for projects nearing completion.
• Software Testing: Conduct software and module-level testing of new web pages in PMIS to ensure functionality.
• Database Reconciliation: Perform biannual reconciliation of PMIS data with other directorates to ensure accuracy.
• Monthly Updates: Provide monthly status updates on projects requiring extensions or facing delays.
