DRDO Junior Research Fellow Vacancy Details:

• Number of Posts: 02
• Educational Qualifications Required:
  • Essential:
    • B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc with First Division + NET/GATE OR
    • M.E./M.Tech with First Division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels
  • Specializations: Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering, Nano Science, Aerospace
• Upper Age Limit: 28 years as of 20th August 2024. Age relaxation applies:
  • Up to 05 years for SC/ST, Women & PwBD
  • Up to 03 years for OBC (NCL) candidates
• Monthly Stipend: ₹37,000/- (Consolidated)
• Tenure: 19 months or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.

DRDO Junior Research Fellow Additional Information:

1. Accommodation: Hostel accommodation may be provided on a payment basis, subject to availability.
2. Medical Facilities: Limited to MI Room facilities.
3. Ph.D. Registration: JRFs will be encouraged to register for a Ph.D. at the institute through proper channels.
4. Interview Mode: In-person or via video conferencing. Shortlisted candidates will be informed individually.

   • JRF position does not guarantee absorption in DIAT (DU), Pune.
   • Qualifications and experience must be from recognized institutions.
   • The screening committee may restrict the number of candidates for the interview based on qualifications and experience.
   • Selected candidates must join immediately upon receiving the offer letter.
