The High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur, invites applications from Indian citizens for direct recruitment to the Chhattisgarh Higher Judicial Service. This recruitment is for the position of District Judge (Entry Level) with a revised pay scale of Rs. 144,840 – 194,660 under Level J-5 of the new pay matrix.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B).
- Experience:
- Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience as an advocate as of 1st January 2024.
- Age Limit:
- Candidates should be between 35 to 45 years of age as of 1st January 2024.
Examination Fee:
- For Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) who are bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh: Rs. 700
- For Unreserved Category and all candidates from other states: Rs. 1000
Note: The examination fee must be paid in the form of a Challan at SBI branches through the Core Banking Network. The original copy of the Challan must be attached to the application form. The Challan form is available along with the application form on the High Court’s website.
