The Indian Coast Guard invites applications from willing and eligible candidates for the following posts on deputation (ISTC) basis for an initial period of 2 years:

A. Senior Civilian Staff Officer (Logistics)

• Group: General Central Service Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
• Level: 12 (₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200)
• Number of Posts: 03 (Subject to Change)
• Place of Posting: Chennai, Paradip, Porbandar, Kochi, Port Blair
• Eligibility:
  • Officers under Central/State Governments, Union Territories, Statutory or Autonomous Organisations, Universities, Public Sector Undertakings, Semi-Governments, or Recognised Research Institutes:
    • (i) Holding analogous posts on a regular basis; or
    • (ii) With five years’ service in the grade in Level-11 or equivalent.
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Degree from a recognised University or Institute.
    • Diploma in Material Management or related field.
    • Ten years of supervisory experience in Store administration and accounting.

B. Civilian Staff Officer (Logistics)

• Group: General Central Service Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
• Level: 11 (₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700)
• Number of Posts: 12 (Subject to Change)
• Place of Posting: Chennai, Mumbai, Porbandar, Paradip, Kochi, Port Blair
• Eligibility:
  • Officers under similar organisations as listed above:
    • (i) Holding analogous posts or
    • (ii) With five years’ service in Level-10 or equivalent.
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Degree from a recognised University.
    • Diploma in Material Management or related field.
    • Five years’ experience in Store Administration and accounting.

C. Assistant Director (Official Language)

• Group: General Central Service, Group ‘A’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
• Level: 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
• Number of Posts: 03 (Subject to Change)
• Place of Posting: Kolkata, Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Tuticorin
• Eligibility:
  • Officers under Central/State Governments or Union Territories:
    • (i) Holding analogous posts or
    • (ii) With three years’ service in Level-7 or equivalent.
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in Hindi/English or equivalent.
    • Three years’ experience in terminology application or translation work.

D. Section Officer

• Group: General Central Service, Group ”B”, Gazetted, Ministerial
• Pay: Level-8 (₹9,300 – ₹34,800) with Grade Pay of ₹4,800
• Number of Posts: 07 (Subject to Change)
• Place of Posting: Chennai, Vizag, Ratnagiri, Karwar, Mayabandar, Port Blair, Okha, Vadinar, Kolkata, Frezerganj
• Eligibility:
  • Officers under Central Government:
    • (i) Holding analogous posts or
    • (ii) With five years regular service in the grade in Level-6 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Three years in administration, establishment, and accounts matters.

E. Civilian Gazetted Officer (Logistics)

• Group: General Central Service Group ‘B’, Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
• Level: 7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400)
• Number of Posts: 08 (Subject to Change)
• Place of Posting: New Delhi, Kolkata, Paradip, Porbandar
• Eligibility:
  • Similar as listed above:
    • (i) Holding analogous posts or
    • (ii) With five years’ service in Level-6 or equivalent.
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University.
    • Diploma in Material Management or related field.
    • Three years’ experience in Store Administration and Accounting.

F. Foreman of Stores

• Group: General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
• Level: 6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)
• Number of Posts: 02 (Subject to Change)
• Place of Posting: Ratnagiri, Karwar, Minicoy, Mayabandar, Pipavav, Frezerganj
• Eligibility:
  • Similar eligibility criteria as above with varying experience and qualifications.

G. Store Keeper Grade-I

• Group: General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
• Level: 4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
• Number of Posts: 03 (Subject to Change)
• Place of Posting: Chennai, Okha, Bhubaneshwar
• Eligibility:
  • Officers under the Central Government:
    • (i) Holding analogous posts or
    • (ii) With eight years regular service in Level-2.
  • Experience: Three years in handling stores and accounts in a government department.

Important Points:

1. Departmental officers in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation or absorption.
2. The period of deputation is generally not to exceed:
   • 04 years for Senior Civilian Staff Officer & Civilian Staff Officer.
   • 03 years for Assistant Director, Section Officer, and other posts.
3. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation is not to exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of application.
