Vacancy Details:
North Central Railway invites online applications for the engagement of 1679 Act Apprentices for training in various divisions and workshops under its jurisdiction, including Prayagraj, Agra, Jhansi, and Jhansi workshop.
Age Limit (as of 15 October 2024):
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years
- Ex-servicemen: Service rendered in Defense plus 3 years (up to 10 years additional relaxation)
Educational Qualifications:
- 10th/SSC with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.
- ITI certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Note: Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply.

Note:
- Applicants awaiting SSC/Matriculation/10th and ITI results as of 14 September 2024 are not eligible.
- Failed candidates in ITI are not allowed to apply. Any inadvertent engagement will lead to termination.
- Engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply.
Reservations:
- Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): 4% reservation.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3% reservation.
- SC/ST/OBC: Reservation as per government norms.
Applicants who claim reservation must upload relevant certificates during the application process.

- General/OBC: Rs. 100 (non-refundable)
- SC/ST/PWD/Women: No fee required.
