Eligibility Criteria:

  1. For Deputation: Central Government officers who:
    • (A) (i) Hold a corresponding post on a regular basis in their parent cadre or department; or (ii) Have three years of regular service in Level 1 of the Pay Matrix (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
    • (B) Educational Qualifications:
      • (i) Passed 12th class from a recognized board; and
      • (ii) Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 key depressions per hour or 9000 key depressions per hour respectively).
  2. Age Limit: The maximum age limit for deputation is 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
  3. Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Issuing coupons for daily sales at the counter
    • Maintaining daily sales register
    • Matching daily cash sales against issued coupons and preparing daily sales accounts
    • Storekeeping and accounting responsibilities
    • Any additional duties assigned by the in-charge of the canteen
  4. Other Conditions:
    • The period of deputation, including any prior service in the same or another organization, is generally not more than three years.
    • The salary of the selected candidate will be regulated under the provisions of the Office Memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training, dated June 17, 2010, and as amended from time to time.
