Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate Apprentices: A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a recognized university or institution in the relevant discipline.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a recognized state council, board of technical education, or university in the relevant discipline.
- Candidates with equivalent qualifications should submit an Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority.
Age Requirement:
- Candidates must be above 18 years as of 31st August 2024.
Selection Process
- Domicile Requirement: Only candidates domiciled in Kerala are eligible.
- Merit-Based Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in their respective qualifications. In case of a tie in marks, the relative merit will be determined by the seniority in the passing year.
- Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for certificate verification. They must present original documents for verification, including age proof, educational qualifications, and caste/disability certificates, if applicable.
- Final Selection: Candidates who pass the certificate verification and meet all criteria will be provisionally selected, subject to medical fitness.
Additional Information
- Duration of Apprenticeship: The apprenticeship will last for one year.
- Previous Training: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible.
- Application Fee: There is no application fee.
