Union Bank of India is inviting online applications from Indian citizens for the engagement of apprentices. The online application process will be open from 28-Aug-2024 to 17-Sep-2024. Interested candidates should carefully review the eligibility criteria and other details provided below before applying.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age:
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years (as of 01-Aug-2024)
- Relaxation in Age:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (Various categories under PwBD as per Govt. norms)
- EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION as on 17-09-2024 (last date of notification):Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute.
- Previous Apprenticeship: Candidates must not have previously undergone or currently be pursuing an apprenticeship.
STIPEND/ BENEFIT:
The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not
eligible for any other allowances/benefits.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection of candidates who apply for engagement of apprentices in the Bank after paying the requisite online examination fee shall
have to undergo the selection process, which would comprise the following:

How to Apply
Application Process: Candidates must apply online, as no other mode of application will be accepted.
Guidelines for Filling Application & Payment of Fees (Online Mode Only):
i. Pre-requisites for Applying Online:
- Candidates should have a valid email ID and mobile number, which must remain active until the declaration of results. This will ensure they receive important notifications via email or SMS.
ii. Registration on Apprenticeship Portals:
- NAPS Portal: All candidates must register on the NAPS portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
- NATS Portal: Candidates who have graduated after April 1, 2020, must also register on the NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
iii. Troubleshooting Registration Issues:
- If candidates face issues with registration, they should consult the help manuals available on the respective portals.
- For NAPS portal, refer to the “Candidate User Manual” under the “Get Started” section at NAPS Portal.
- For NATS portal, refer to the student manual at NATS Portal.
iv. Retention of Login Credentials:
- Candidates must remember their login IDs and passwords for both apprenticeship portals, as these will be needed throughout the apprenticeship program.
v. Applying for Apprenticeship Opportunity:
- Candidates must apply for the apprenticeship opportunities advertised by the Bank on the respective portals.
- On the NAPS portal, search for “Union Bank of India” under “Search by Establishment Name” using this link: NAPS Opportunity.
- On the NATS portal, view the apprenticeship advertisement for “Union Bank of India” after logging in via NATS Portal.
vi. Note Apprentice Registration Code and Enrolment ID:
- It is crucial for candidates to note down their Apprentice Registration Code (from the NAPS portal) and Enrolment ID (from the NATS portal) for future correspondence.
vii. Additional Information and Payment Instructions:
- Candidates who successfully apply on the NAPS and/or NATS portals will receive an email from BFSI SSC (naik.ashwini@bfsissc.com) with further instructions regarding district choice for training and payment for the online examination.
- Important: Only respond to emails mentioned in the official notification.
viii. Payment of Examination Fee:
- The examination fee can be paid via debit card, credit card, internet banking, or UPI. Candidates will be responsible for any transaction charges associated with online payments.
ix. Receipt of Payment:
- Upon successful payment, an e-receipt will be sent to the registered email ID.
x. Handling Unsuccessful Transactions:
- If the online transaction is not completed successfully, candidates should return to the email from BFSI SSC and repeat the payment process until successful.
