Company Name: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)

The Railway Recruitment Board has announced an Employment notification for Various Posts in Level 1. There are about 22,000 vacancies available for the RRB Group D Vacancy. Candidates with 10th/ITI/NAC qualifications can apply for RRB Group D Careers. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 21 January 2026 to 20 February 2026. The detailed eligibility and selection process for RRB Group D jobs are explained below.

Position: Various Posts in Level 1

Job Location: Across India

Salary: Rs. 18,000/- (Level 1)

Qualification: 

• 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Total Vacancies:

• Assistant (Track Machine) – 600 Posts
• Assistant (Bridge) – 600 Posts
• Track Maintainer (Group IV) – 11000 Posts
• Assistant (P-Way) – 300 Posts
• Assistant (TRD) – 800 Posts
• Assistant Loco Shed (Electrical) – 200 Posts
• Assistant Operations (Electrical) – 500 Posts
• Assistant (TL & AC) – 50 Posts
• Assistant (C & W) – 1000 Posts
• Pointsman B – 5000 Posts

Selection Process:

The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages: 

• • Computer Based Tests (CBT)
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Document Verification (DV)
  • Medical Examination (ME)

Application Fee:

• For all candidates: Rs. 500/- (Out of this fee of Rs.500/- an amount of Rs, 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in the CBT
• SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ PwBD/ Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC: Rs. 250/- This fee will be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in the CBT
• Modes Of Fee Payment: Internet banking, debit/credit cards or UPI
