IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division, Western Region has released the IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for Technician Apprentice, Trade Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. A total of 335 apprentice vacancies are available across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. Candidates with Diploma, ITI, Class 12th and Graduation qualifications are eligible to apply for the respective apprenticeship posts. Salary / Stipend:
Stipend will be paid as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and applicable Apprentices Rules.
Qualification & Experience:
Technician Apprentice: 3 years regular full-time Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics or Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
Trade Apprentice: Matric with regular full-time 2-year ITI course in Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic or Machinist Trades recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved positions from a recognized Institute/University.
Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator): Class 12th but below graduation with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwBD candidates against reserved positions.
Trade Apprentice (Data Entry Operator – Skill Certificate Holders): Class 12th but below graduation along with Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government.
Note:
- For Graduate and Technician Apprentice disciplines, candidates must have acquired the prescribed qualification between 01 April 2023 and 30 September 2026. For Trade Apprentice and Data Entry Operator disciplines, the prescribed qualification must have been acquired between 01 April 2022 and 30 September 2026.
- Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB or equivalent qualifications are not eligible.

Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- The age will be calculated as on 30 September 2026.
- SC/ST candidates will receive 5 years relaxation.
- OBC-NCL candidates will receive 3 years relaxation.
- PwBD candidates will receive applicable age relaxation as per Government rules.
Selection Process:
- There will be no written test or interview.
- Selection will be based on a merit list prepared according to the percentage of marks secured in the essential prescribed qualification for the respective discipline.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and will also have to complete the prescribed Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test.
- Candidates whose documents and medical fitness certificate are found satisfactory will be issued the offer of engagement for apprenticeship training.
