IRCTC Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), a Government of India Undertaking and Mini Ratna company, has released the IRCTC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for engagement of Apprentice trainees at IRCTC West Zone, Mumbai. A total of 27 apprentice positions are available for Matriculation + ITI and Graduate candidates. The apprenticeship training period will be 12 months. Salary / Stipend:
Selected candidates engaged as Apprentices will be paid monthly stipend as per the prescribed rates under the Apprenticeship Act.
Qualification & Experience:
- Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA): Matriculation and ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT.
- Executive – Procurement: Graduation pursuing in Commerce / CA Inter / Supply Chain or similar.
- HR Executive – Payroll and Employee Data Management: Graduate in any discipline.
- Marketing Operations and Analytics: Graduate in any discipline.
Note: Candidates should have already passed or be pursuing the prescribed qualification as notified against the respective position on 30 September 2026.

Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 15 Years (Completed)
- Maximum Age: 25 Years
Age relaxation:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
- OBC Candidates: 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 10 Years, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification.
- PwBD Candidates: 10 Years
- The notification mentions 30 September 2026 as the cut-off date for qualification and age criteria.
Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on a merit list prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the Matriculation examination.
- In case of a grading system, the average of the highest and lowest marks will be considered.
- If two applicants have the same marks, the older applicant will be preferred. If their dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the Matriculation examination earlier will be considered first.
- There will be no written test or viva.
- Final selection will be subject to verification of original testimonials. Shortlisted candidates will be required to report for Document/Certificate Verification at short notice.
