BHEL Trichy Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli has released separate notifications for the engagement of Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice and Trade Apprentice for the year 2026-27. There are 530 apprenticeship vacancies available in various Engineering, Graduate and ITI disciplines. Candidates with Degree, Diploma and ITI qualifications are eligible to apply. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from 14 August 2026 to 12 September 2026 (11:45 PM). Positions: Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice, Trade Apprentice
Job Location: Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu
Stipend:
- Graduate Apprentice – ₹12,300/- per month
- Technician Apprentice – ₹10,900/- per month
- Trade Apprentice – ₹10,560/- to ₹11,040/- per month, depending on the trade.
- Subsidized food and hostel facilities are also available.
Qualification:
Graduate Apprentice:
- 10+2 with full-time graduation in the relevant discipline. B.Com candidates are eligible for Accountant and B.A candidates for Assistant-HR. Minimum 60% marks for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Technician Apprentice:
- High School Pass with full-time Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute. Minimum 60% marks for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Trade Apprentice:
- High School Pass with full-time ITI in the relevant trade from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute. For Welder, NCVT qualification is required.
Note: Candidates who completed their qualifying Degree/Diploma/ITI in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible. Distance Learning, Part-Time, Correspondence and Sandwich courses are not considered. Candidates already undergoing or having completed apprenticeship training elsewhere, or having one year or more work experience, are not eligible. Graduate Apprentice candidates holding a postgraduate qualification are also not eligible.

Selection Process:
- Merit List based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination

- Selection will be based on the applicable qualifying examination marks. In case of equal marks, the older candidate will be preferred. No written examination or interview is mentioned for selection.
