AWAS MITRA Educational Qualifications:
- Unemployed youth with B.E./Diploma/12th Pass are eligible to apply for the position of “Awas Mitra/Dedicated Human Resource.”
- Preference will be given to candidates who have passed B.E. Civil, Diploma Civil, and M.A. (Rural Development).

AWAS MITRA Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on merit from their 12th-grade marks, with the following weightage assigned:
- 12th Grade Pass: 65 Marks
- B.E./Diploma/M.A. (Rural Development) Pass: 15 Marks
- Previously employed as Awas Mitra: 20 Marks
- Barefoot Technician (BFT): 10 Marks
- Member of Women’s Self-Help Group and Bank Sakhi: 10 Marks
AWAS MITRA Reasons for Rejection:
- Incomplete application form.
- Incomplete documentation.
- Absence of signature or photo on the application form.
- Applications received after the deadline.
AWAS MITRA Age Limit:
The candidate must be between 18 and 45 years of age as of 01 January 2024.
Incentive:
- An incentive of ₹1000 per house construction will be provided.
- Construction work must be completed within 12 months.
Duration
Construction work must be completed within 12 months; otherwise, ₹100 will be deducted from the incentive for each quarter of delay.
AWAS MITRA Job Responsibilities:

- Coordinating the availability of materials for housing construction.
- Submitting phase-wise reports on construction work.
