DRDO RCI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Research Centre Imarat (RCI), DRDO, Hyderabad has released the DRDO RCI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for Graduate Apprentice, Technician Apprentice (Diploma) and Trade Apprentice posts for the year 2026. A total of 195 apprentice vacancies are available for B.E./B.Tech, Diploma and ITI candidates. Eligible candidates must have secured 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA and above in the qualifying examination. The apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year.

Qualification & Experience:
Graduate Apprentice: B.E. / B.Tech in ECE, Instrumentation Engineering, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Safety Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Diploma in ECE, Instrumentation Engineering, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or Safety Engineering.
Trade Apprentice (ITI): ITI in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronic-Mechanic, Electrician, COPA (Computer Operator Programming Assistant), Draughtsman Engineering (Mechanical) or Grinder.
Note:
- Only regular candidates who secured 70% marks or CGPA 7.5 and above in the qualifying examinations are eligible to apply. The qualifying examination should have been completed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Candidates with higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under any organization are not eligible.
- Candidates having more than one year of work experience are also not eligible.
Total Vacancies:
- Graduate Apprentice – 50 Posts
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma) – 30 Posts
- Trade Apprentice (ITI) – 115 Posts
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age as on 01 September 2026.
- The notification does not mention a maximum age limit.
Selection Process:
- Selection will be made on the basis of Academic Merit / Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of documents.
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed through the email ID provided in the application form.
- Candidates shortlisted for document verification/joining will have to produce the required original documents and self-attested copies.
