• 02 Young Professionals for the Economic Regulation (ER) Division

Job Overview:
The Ministry of Civil Aviation is seeking to engage four Young Professionals to contribute to research, data analysis, and policy formulation. These professionals will play a key role in supporting the Ministry’s strategic initiatives and ensuring the effective implementation of policies. Selected candidates will work closely with the Minister and senior officials, providing high-level inputs and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Briefing the Minister: Provide concise and comprehensive briefings on critical aviation issues.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research, analyze data, and interpret findings to support policy development.
• Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports, policy papers, and presentations to guide decision-making.
• Strategic Support: Assist in the formulation and execution of strategic initiatives within the civil aviation sector.
• Impact Assessment: Conduct studies and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of policies and interventions.
• Financial & Economic Analysis: Analyze the financial viability of aviation operations and address competition issues within the sector.

Qualifications & Age Limit:

1. Aerospace Young Professionals (02 Positions):
   • Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
   • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with a reputable organization specializing in aviation, drone policy, or related areas.
   • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
2. Economics/Finance/Management Young Professionals (02 Positions):
   • Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in Economics or an MBA with a specialization in Aviation or Finance from a recognized university/institute.
   • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the aviation sector.
   • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.

Desirable Skills:

• Proficiency in applying advanced research techniques and business intelligence in the aviation domain.
• Ability to develop and apply mathematical, statistical, or financial models for data analysis.
• Strong skills in data interpretation and the preparation of policy-driven reports.

Remuneration:
The selected Young Professionals will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹54,000. An annual increment of up to 6% may be granted based on satisfactory performance.

Contract Details:

• Duration: Initial contract for 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 3 years (1+1+1) based on performance and ministry requirements.
• Leave: 12 days of casual leave per year on a pro-rata basis.
• Termination: Either party may terminate the contract with a one-month notice.
