Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in content creation, live presentations, and contributing to programme development across various digital platforms. Responsibilities include:
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with the Video, Content, and Outreach teams to produce both long-form and short-form content.
- Ensure that all content adheres to the latest digital standards, engaging and capturing the attention of the target audience.
- Live Presentations:
- Ability to prepare scripts and present information live on air.
- Deliver presentations within tight deadlines, ensuring the content is accurate, up-to-date, and well-organized.
- Collaboration:
- Work with other team members to develop innovative and engaging digital content.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring smooth execution.
- Digital Savvy:
- Must be proficient in the use of new media platforms, especially YouTube and Instagram.
- Leverage digital platforms to maximize reach and audience engagement.
- Programme Development:
- Contribute innovative ideas for new programmes and series that resonate with the digital audience, particularly citizens engaged with government initiatives.
- Extensive Travelling:
- The position requires travelling across various locations to cover government initiatives and present them digitally.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as journalism, mass communication, digital media, or related fields).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Digital Content Presenter, Video Anchor, or in a similar role.
- Experience in working with digital media platforms, content creation, and live presentations is essential.
- Skills & Requirements:
- Comprehensive understanding of the content creation process.
- Ability to adapt and present diverse topics for digital platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian culture, politics, and economy on both national and regional levels.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with the audience.
- SEO knowledge is desirable to optimize content for search engine visibility.
- Ability to work under pressure with good time management and problem-solving skills.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in conducting interviews with high-profile guests.

Probation Period and Employment Terms
The candidate will be on probation for the first three months from the date of joining. Performance during the probation period will determine the extension of the contract:
- It is not mandatory for MyGov to offer regular employment after the probation period.
- The probation period may be extended or shortened based on the candidate’s performance.
- After successful completion of the probation period, the candidate may be offered a regular contract with MyGov.
