2. Required Qualifications and Experience
- Commercial:
- Degree in Engineering or Graduate with MBA/PG Diploma in Marketing/Foreign Trade/Sales Management or CA/ICMA.
- Environment:
- Degree in Civil/Chemical/Mining/Environmental Engineering or PG in Environmental Management/Engineering/Science/Geology/Chemistry/Botany, or Doctorate in Environmental Studies.
- Geo & QC:
- M.Sc./M.Sc. (Tech.)/M.Tech in Geology.
- Mining:
- Diploma in Mining Engineering with Foreman’s Certificate or Degree in Mining Engineering with 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years for Diploma Holders.
- Survey:
- Diploma in Mining or Mines & Mine Surveying with Mine Surveyor’s Certificate.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years.
- Chemical:
- M.Sc. in Chemistry or Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Civil:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in construction.
- Electrical:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Electrical Supervisory Certificate or Degree in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years.
- Industrial Engineering:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or Degree in Mining/Mechanical/Production Engineering with PG Diploma in Industrial Engineering.
- Mechanical:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.
3. NMDC Junior Officer Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 32 years
- Age relaxation:
- 5 years for SC/ST
- 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)
- 15 years for Departmental candidates of NMDC.
4. Stipend and Pay Scale
- Trainee Period:
- First 12 Months: Rs. 37,000/- (Degree Holders) / Rs. 38,000/- (Diploma Holders)
- Remaining 6 Months: Rs. 37,000/- (Degree Holders)
- Pay Scale on Completion: Rs. 130,000/-

6. NMDC Junior Officer Selection Process
- Stages:
- Stage I: Online Test (CBT) – 100 marks
- Stage II: Supervisory Skill Test – Qualifying in nature
- Minimum Marks Required:
- SC/ST/PwD: 40 marks
- OBC (NCL): 45 marks
- UR & EWS: 50 marks
- Ratio for Supervisory Skill Test: 1:3 based on Online Test scores.
