NSPCL Recruitment Notification 2024: Diploma Apprentices and Laboratory Assistant Apprentices

NTPC SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL), a joint venture of two Maharatnas—NTPC Limited and SAIL, invites applications for Diploma Apprentices and Laboratory Assistant Apprentices across various disciplines for 2024. NSPCL operates power plants in Bhilai, Durgapur, and Rourkela with an installed capacity of 1104 MW and is expanding into green energy with a 530 MW solar power project.

Available Positions:

1. Diploma Apprentices (24 vacancies)
   • Electrical: Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
   • Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering
   • C&I (Control & Instrumentation): Diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering
2. Laboratory Assistant Apprentices (6 vacancies)
   • Chemistry: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry

Qualifications:

• Diploma: Full-time diploma with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized institution.
• Laboratory Assistant: Full-time bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 60%.

Training & Stipend:

• Training Duration: 1 year
• Stipend: ₹24,000 per month
• Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed into the W7 grade pay scale.

Age Limit:

• Upper age limit: 27 years as of the last application date.
• Relaxation for SC/ST/PWBD as per government norms.

Selection Process:

1. Online Test:
   • Aptitude (English, Quantitative, Reasoning): 50 questions
   • Technical Knowledge: 70 questions
   • Negative marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer.
   • Qualifying Marks: 40% (General/EWS), 30% (SC/ST/OBC/PWBD)

Test Centers:

• Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Raipur, Bhubaneswar

Application Guidelines:

• Indian citizens only.
• No TA/DA for appearing in the exam.
• Email ID must remain valid for at least one year.
• Employees of government departments/PSUs must present a relieving letter upon joining.
