- Eligibility for Scheduled Areas: Candidates from the Scheduled Area are eligible for Non-Scheduled Area posts, but only candidates from Scheduled Areas should apply for Scheduled Area posts. Proof of residence in the Scheduled Area must be provided when requested.
- Departmental Employees: Posts numbered 1, 3, 12, 22, and 25 in Subordinate Services are reserved for departmental employees. Only ministerial employees working in the concerned department should apply for these posts.
- Non-Gazetted Employees: Employees of Rajasthan Government, Panchayat Samitis, and Zilla Parishads are eligible for reserved posts in State Services if they have completed at least five years of service by January 1, 2025.
- Reservation Provisions:
- Reserved vacancies for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen are for Rajasthan residents only.
- Horizontal reservation for women, specially-abled persons, and ex-servicemen will follow specific rules.
- Unfilled reserved posts will be carried forward as per the specified rules.
Educational Qualifications:
- A degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification is required.
Age Limit:
- Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on January 1, 2025.
- Non-Gazetted Employees must be between 25 and 45 years of age.
RPSC Combined Competitive Examination-2024 Selection Process:
- Examination and Interview:
- Candidates will be selected based on a competitive examination and an interview.
- Scaling/moderation/normalization methods may be used if necessary.
- Names of suitable candidates will be recommended to the State Government/Appointing Authority based on merit.

Examination Scheme and Syllabus:
- Preliminary Examination:
- Format: Objective type (Online/Offline)
- Subject: General Knowledge & General Science
- Maximum Marks: 200
- Duration: 3 hours
- Purpose: Screening test. Marks obtained will not count towards the final merit.
- Main Examination:
- Admission: Candidates up to fifteen times the number of vacancies will be admitted, with relaxation for reserved categories if necessary.
- Minimum Marks:
- 10% in each paper
- 15% in aggregate
- Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST candidates.
- Papers:
- Paper I: General Studies-I (200 marks)
- Paper II: General Studies-II (200 marks)
- Paper III: General Studies-III (200 marks)
- Paper IV: General Hindi and General English (200 marks)
- Duration for Each Paper: 3 hours
- Standard: Senior Secondary level for General Hindi and General English.
- Personality and Viva-Voce Examination:
- Marks: 100
- Criteria: Character, personality, knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
- Preference: Candidates with a ‘C’ Certificate of N.C.C. for Rajasthan Police Service.

- Application Period:
- From 19.09.2024 to 18.10.2024 (12:00 midnight).
- Online Application:
- Visit RPSC Website.
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) at SSO Portal.
- Upload live photo, signature, and thumb impression.
- Ensure all educational qualifications/experience are correctly entered.
- Registration Fee:
- General (Unreserved)/Creamy Layer: Rs. 1000
- Reserved Categories: Rs. 400
- Disabled Candidates: Rs. 400
- Special Instructions for Disabled Candidates:
- Option for dictation and compensatory time must be selected if required.
- Required documents and certificates must be submitted to the Center Superintendent.
