SAIL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), has released the SAIL Bhilai Steel Plant Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for Trade Apprentice, Technician Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice posts for the year 2026-27. A total of 710 apprentice vacancies are available for ITI, Diploma and Degree candidates. Candidates who passed the relevant qualification during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible to apply. The last date to apply on the respective apprenticeship portal is 20 October 2026.

Stipend:
- Trade Apprentice: Rs. 9,600 per month
- Technician Apprentice: Rs. 10,900 per month
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300 per month
- The stipend will be paid as per the applicable Government/MSDE rules.
Qualification & Experience:
Trade Apprentice (ITI): ITI in the relevant trade from a Government-recognized institute.
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Diploma in the relevant engineering or technical discipline from a Government-recognized Institute/University.
Graduate Apprentice: Degree in the relevant engineering or non-engineering discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
Note:
- Candidates must have passed the relevant qualifying examination as regular candidates during 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have one year or more of job experience, are not eligible.

Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on academic merit. There will be no written examination.
- For Trade Apprentice posts, the prescribed marks in Class 10th and ITI will be considered. For Technician Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice posts, marks obtained in the prescribed Diploma/Degree qualification will be considered.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for the scheduled walk-in selection/document verification process.

How to Apply:
Candidates applying for Trade Apprentice posts are required to register on the Apprenticeship India portal and apply for the relevant trade.
Candidates applying for Technician Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice posts are required to register on the NATS portal and apply for the relevant discipline.
After completing the online registration and application process, eligible candidates must appear for the walk-in selection/document verification according to the scheduled dates.
Candidates should carry their educational certificates, marksheets, Aadhaar Card, applicable category certificate, medical fitness certificate and NAPS/NATS registration copy at the time of the walk-in process.
