3. Pay Levels
- Posts are available in Level 5/4, Level 3/2, and Level 1 of the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016.
- Candidates eligible for Level 3/2 may also apply for Level 5/4 posts. However, they will only be considered if no eligible Level 5/4 candidates are found.
4. South Western Railway sports person recruitment eligibility
A. Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years as on 01.01.2025
- Maximum: 25 years as on 01.01.2025
- Note: No age relaxation is permissible for any category.
B. Educational Qualification:
- For Level 5/4: Graduate in any discipline.
- For Level 3/2: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination.
- For Level 1: Passed 10th or ITI or its equivalent.
C. Sports Achievements:
- Only sports achievements after 01.04.2022 will be considered for eligibility.
- The applicant must be an active player at the time of application.
- Recognized achievements include representing the country at international competitions, winning medals at national championships, and achieving performance standards as per the notification.
5. Selection Process
The selection process will consist of:
- Sports Trials: To evaluate the skill level of the candidates.
- Assessment of Sports Achievements: Based on the level of participation and achievements in tournaments.
- Educational Qualification Evaluation: Verification of the required academic qualifications.
Note: Candidates who qualify in the trials will be subject to document verification before the final appointment.
