2. UIIC AO Eligibility Criteria (As of 30.09.2024):
a. Nationality:
- Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, or certain persons of Indian origin as per Government of India guidelines.

3. UIIC AO Application Process:
- Candidates can apply for either Specialist or Generalist positions (not both).
- Multiple registrations will lead to disqualification.
4. What is the exam pattern of UIIC AO?
- Working knowledge of computers is essential.
- Selection is based on Written Examination and Interview.
- Selected candidates will be posted in Southern and Western India, and no transfer requests will be entertained for 5 years.
5. Examination Process:
a. Descriptive Test:
- Qualifying in nature, but marks will not be counted towards the final selection or shortlisting for the interview.
b. Objective Test:
- Objective-type questions with multiple choices.
- Penalty: One-fourth of the marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- No penalty for unanswered questions.
c. Scoring:
- Scores will be normalized to account for the varying difficulty levels across test sessions.
- Final scores will be reported with up to two decimal points.
d. Cut-Offs:
- There will be section-wise and overall cut-offs for each category.
e. What is the selection process of UIIC AO?
- Candidates with visual or physical impairments may use a scribe.
- The scribe’s qualification must be lower than the candidate’s.
- Compensatory time will be granted to eligible candidates.
f. Examination Centers:
- Candidates need to choose exam centers from a predefined list. The company reserves the right to change the center based on administrative feasibility.
g. Call Letters:
- Downloadable from the company’s website. Candidates must bring a photo ID and the call letter to the exam center.
