Position Details
- Name of Position: Consultant Grade-I (Social Media)

- Tenure: Contract for a fixed period, up to two years, with possible extension under exceptional circumstances

Purpose of Assignment
To enhance ESIC’s social media presence and effectively communicate services and benefits to insured persons.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy.
- Create media plans for campaigns across social platforms.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns.
- Monitor conversations about ESIC and engage in discussions.
- Report sentiments and findings on ESIC-related topics.
- Collaborate with design/content teams for engaging communications.
- Submit periodic analysis and reports to the reporting authority.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: Any Graduate
- Work Experience:
- 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in social media management, preferably at the Ministry or Department level.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi, with strong communication skills.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, etc.).

- Note: For Ph.D. holders, up to 3 years of experience can be excluded.
Remuneration Details
- Fixed by the Consultancy Evaluation Committee (CEC), inclusive of all taxes.
- Annual reviews may enhance remuneration based on performance, with a maximum increase of 10% each year.
Reimbursement of Expenses
- Travel and Accommodation:
- Young Professionals/Consultants Grade-1: Economy class air or AC II tier rail, hotel up to ₹2,250/day, taxi ₹338/day, food ₹900/day.
- Consultant Grade-2: Same as above with hotel up to ₹4,500/day, taxi charges for AC taxi up to 50 km, and food ₹1,000/day.
- Senior Consultant: Same allowances as above.
Selection Process
- Follows GFR 2017 and Manual for Procurement for Consultancy & Other Services 2022.
- Rolling basis engagement; a Resource Pool Portal is maintained.
- Periodic advertisements for requirements in newspapers and on the ESIC website.
- Screening and selection committees shortlist and recommend candidates for approval by the Director General.

Leave and Termination
- 1.5 days of leave per month, no carryover.
- Contract may be terminated without notice at ESIC’s discretion.
Police Verification
- Mandatory; a negative result will terminate the consultancy contract immediately.
Modifications
- The Director General can relax or modify provisions as deemed necessary.
